Only when the rider gives a reinforced rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower, ensuring more precise and effective communication. Thus, novocontact bits improve the interaction between horse and rider for a better contact and acceptance of the bit.
Due to the modern novocontact geometry, this double-jointed model is a good choice for horses that occasionally get strong but are too sensitive for more impactful bits. These horses also reacted positively to the bit in the practical tests. It fits ergonomically in the horse's mouth, has a large contact surface on the tongue and thus supports a soft but clear impact.
